The Berlin-based painter Anna Lena Straube has developed a whole cosmos of her own pictorial worlds. She paints realistically with remarkable mastery, often with a tendency towards the surreal. This results in unique scenes of youth and femininity. The past and the imagined merge into the real present in her paintings. She was honored with two solo exhibitions in German museums last year and is at the beginning of an international career. With her “Site Visit” series, she gives us an insight into a place steeped in history! The Teufelsberg in Berlin, which is extremely topical and lively with its art and pop culture.
