“Animal Instinct” – A humorous search for traces of lost nature
The exhibition Animal Instinct explores the complex relationship between humans, animals and nature. At a time when the human world is drifting ever further from its origins, animals serve as symbols of instinct and primal nature – qualities that are often lost in modern daily life.
The exhibition critically examines why we rarely treat animals as equals, yet deliberately refrains from moralising. Instead, we focus on humour and pointed shifts in perspective. We wish to invite our audience to reflect on their own alienation from nature and to discover their own “animal instinct”.
“We do not wish to admonish, but rather to raise awareness with a touch of humour.” Animal Instinct is a plea for a greater connection with nature and respectful encounters on equal terms.
