Born in Bergkamen in 1968, Stephan Geisler studied graphic design at the University of Applied Sciences Münster/Westphalia from 1990 to 1995 and graduated in illustration with Professor Rolf Escher. Stephan Geisler then taught graphic design at the University of Dortmund for five years until 2000. In 1998 he was one of the founding members of the artists’ workshop sohle 1. Since 1998 he has also been a lecturer in painting and drawing at the Bad Reichenhall Academy.
In 2000 Stephan Geisler received the first prize of Blesel Fine Art for his works, in 2009 he was a finalist of the 4th DEW21 Art Prize. His works are represented at exhibitions and fairs and are often in private collections.
Today, the freelance artist works primarily in his studio in Bochum.
