Looking ahead at Parktheater Iserlohn

For 28 years we have been curating and organizing exhibitions at the Parktheater. This year, under the motto “Looking forward” with a new highlight, 6 artists* from 5 nations: Katarzyna Cudnik (PL), Isa Dahl (D), Jenny Day (USA), Fleur Deakin (UK), Florian Fausch (CH) and Stefan Geisler (D), 4 of whom have never been shown in Iserlohn before. The artists approach the theme in very different ways, ranging from contemplation to the full joy of life, from stirring movements to apocalyptic visions of a world without people.
You are welcome to visit this unique exhibition outside the opening hours of the theater by arrangement with us. The exhibition continues until June.

Anna Lena Straube at Frauen Museum Wiesbaden

Anna Lena Straube’s career continues to develop rapidly. Her successes in the U.S. are joined this year by two major solo exhibitions in museums, the first of which is at the Frauen Museum Wiesbaden, where she will be exhibited immediately following Justine Otto and Rosa Loy.

On display will be her new cycle of works, “Kiss Your Nightmares.” It is about the painterly translation of a performance of four women lasting several hours in a nature dominated by men. This resulted in sequences of varying emotional tension on the themes of mysticism, life and death, resurrection and transformation.

The exhibition continues through February 22, and a brochure is available through us.
